At the fifth Aviation Forum in Hamburg, representatives of well-known air travel and logistics businesses will present new approaches for supply chain management. Blue Yonder founder Prof. Dr. Michael Feindt will demonstrate the potential of Predictive Applications.
Under the auspices of Dr. Klaus Richter, Chief Procurement Officer for Airbus Group & Airbus, the fifth Aviation Forum will take place on December 8th and 9th 2015 in the Hamburg Congress Center. The industry event will begin with a highlight: the visitor is invited to visit the Airbus logistics platform from Kuehne + Nagel. Then, they can either look more closely at the production of the Airbus, or go on the Lufthansa technical tour.
After this impressive introduction, the discussions will open. Logistics, technology, procurement, economic environment – the range of topics at the Aviation Forum will be broad. The organizers are laying particular emphasis on the aspects of globalization and innovation. Whether automation or 3D printing, new technologies will be examined for their concrete uses in the industry.
Blue Yonder founder Prof. Dr. Michael Feindt elaborates on why Predictive Applications “spur on” digital trade. Data analytics expert Ingolf Mollat, Principal Consultant, will take part in the Aviation Forum as another representative of Blue Yonder. The organizers estimate that there will be about 500 visitors from upper management. Around 50 presenters will show product and process innovations for air travel, and numerous tracks, workshops, and panel discussions will allow visitors to explore their own areas of interest. Not least of all, the Hamburg Aviation Forum will be an excellent networking platform for the industry. Learn more about it yourself!
